Body Analysis
Kieser Diagnostics
You probably know your weight, blood pressure, or cholesterol level – but do you also know the condition of your muscles?
Your musculature plays a central role in your health due to its many functions. A Strength test, Back test, and BIA measurement at Kieser give you clear answers – objective, precise, and scientifically grounded.
The Strength Test
How strong are you really?
With the Strength meter, we offer a mobile measuring station directly at our training machines. It measures your isometric maximum strength – precisely and objectively – for all major muscle groups.
The Strength test answers the following questions:
- What is your current level of strength?
- How do you compare with others?
- Which of your muscle areas require special training attention?
- Does your strength gain match expectations?
The measurement can be specifically conducted for individual muscle groups – from the shoulders to the lower legs.

The Back Test
Individualized Muscle Training
With the help of our computer assisted machine (Medical machines) for the back, we assess your spinal mobility and the strength of your deep spinal extensors in the lumbar region at the start of your training. A weakness in these muscles is often associated with back pain.
By comparing with scientifically established reference values from people with healthy backs, you receive a reliable assessment of your current strength and functional condition.
The Back test helps identify the causes of your complaints – and objectively documents your training progress through regular repetition.

BIA Measurement
Body Analysis: Know the Condition of Your Muscles
When people restrict calories, they often lose muscle instead of fat – with long-term negative effects on health and performance. Our BIA measurement (Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis) quickly and painlessly shows you how your muscle and fat mass are distributed. The result serves as a baseline – and as the foundation for informed advice: How can you improve your muscle-to-fat ratio?
Because: muscles are much more than strength. They are your largest metabolic organ, a key biomarker of aging, and the key to an active life. Without regular Strength training , muscle mass decreases with age while fat percentage increases – a taxing combination for your back, joints, and metabolism.

A resounding success
