KIESER Hand Training

Take strength into your own hands

Grip strength is often the weakest link in your movement chain – whether in everyday life, in sport, or during strength training. Our specialised exercise machine strengthens your hand and forearm muscles through controlled flexion, extension and rotation movements. A strong grip improves your resilience, enhances your training performance, and enables you to perform many everyday movements safely and without pain.

Hand rotation, flexion and extension

Why strong hands matter

Your benefits with the Kieser H3–7 exercise machine

Multiple functions: Train muscles without switching gear

Isolated load: Strengthen single muscles precisely

Unilateral training: Train each body side separately

Individually adjustable: Fit machine to your body size

For strong forearm and hand muscles

Whether carrying, gripping, turning or holding – your forearms do most of the work, even when your fingers are in focus. Strong forearm muscles are therefore essential for stable and powerful grip strength. At Kieser, you train these muscle groups on a specially developed machine: Targeted exercises strengthen both the forearm flexor and extensor muscles and the small hand muscles (e.g. using the crush grip). The result: more strength, more control – and protection from overuse, pain and functional limitations.

How to train your grip strength on the H3–7

Select a training weight that allows you to perform the exercise cleanly and in a controlled manner. Adjust the seat height to fit your body size. Depending on the exercise, use the designated handles for flexion, extension, rotation or the so-called crush grip to strengthen your fingers. Important: It's not the weight alone that determines training effectiveness, but how hard you push yourself. Your muscles must work to the point of exhaustion – only then is the necessary stimulus created for adaptation and progress. So what matters is not the training weight per se, but your personal level of effort.

Train grip strength with the H3–7

Effective grip strength training requires controlled flexion, extension and rotation – without compensatory movements or involvement of auxiliary muscles. This makes targeted grip strength training not only precise and effective, but also comfortable and accessible.
