To prevent or alleviate back pain, it’s essential to specifically strengthen the deep back muscles. However, larger muscles often take over the work, leaving the small spinal extensors in the lumbar region underused and weak. Targeted training of these muscles is therefore crucial.
For effective back training, the spinal extensors must be isolated from the surrounding muscles. On the Lumbal Extension (LE) training machine, your pelvis is stabilized, which deactivates the gluteal and leg muscles. This allows for safe, effective, and highly efficient training of the deep spinal extensors.

Noticeable strength gains typically appear after 12 to 18 sessions. After that, one session per month on the LE machine, combined with two 30-minute full-body workouts per week, is usually sufficient to continue improving your overall muscular strength.
