Accessibility statement

Accessibility statement

Kieser strives to make its websites www.kieser.de, www.kieser.ch, www.kieser.at and www.kieser.com accessible to all users. This accessibility statement applies to the above-mentioned websites.

Status of compliance with requirements

The websites are partially compliant with the applicable legal requirements for accessibility. Measures are continuously being taken to further improve accessibility.

The requirements are derived from:

- EU Directive 2016/2102
- the German Disability Equality Act (BGG) and the Barrier-Free Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0)
- the Swiss Federal Act on the Elimination of Discrimination against Persons with Disabilities (BehiG)
- the Austrian Federal Disability Equality Act (BGStG)

Non-accessible content

The following content is currently not fully accessible:

- PDF documents, especially older content, do not fully comply with PDF/UA guidelines (Werner Kieser diary, older Reflex issues)
- Individual contrast elements and text sizes may be insufficient in certain displays.
- Keyboard operability is not fully available on all interactive elements.
- Alternative texts for images are sometimes missing or are not sufficiently meaningful.
- Videos are currently not fully subtitled.

We are continuously working to identify and remove these barriers.

Creation of this statement

This statement was created on 2 July 2025.

The assessment is based on a self-assessment according to the WCAG standard (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1, conformance level AA).
