Strong neck muscles – clear head
Whether it's tension, headaches or a stiff neck – many people suffer from neck pain on a regular basis. This is often caused by weak neck muscles. With targeted neck training at Kieser, you can strengthen the deep muscles around the cervical spine. This reduces tension, increases your resistance to fatigue and improves stability and mobility in everyday life.
Identify causes, take targeted preventive measures
Understanding neck pain
Neck pain can have many causes – from poor posture and muscle tension to previous injuries or slipped discs. Even everyday habits, such as frequently looking down at smartphones (‘text neck’), strain the cervical spine and lead to tension.
However, there are things you can do to actively combat this: ergonomic adjustments to your workplace, conscious breaks and targeted exercise can relieve strain on the neck. Systematic strength training is particularly effective: it strengthens the neck muscles, corrects poor posture and ensures stable, healthy posture in the long term.

Poor posture is a major risk factor for neck pain – and this doesn't just apply to sitting or standing. Unergonomic sleeping positions can also cause tension and discomfort. Added to this are intensive smartphone use, prolonged sitting, lack of exercise and lack of muscular balance.
You can counteract this in a targeted manner: with conscious posture and health-oriented strength training of the deep neck muscles, you can strengthen your cervical spine, reduce tension and prevent discomfort.
This is how heavy an adult's head is – and it puts strain on the neck muscles, especially when posture is poor.
This is how much strain is placed on the cervical spine when the head is tilted forward by 45 degrees.
The range of motion during CE measurement is so large – ideal for effective training with targeted, isolated muscle activation.

What our customers say about Kieser
neck pain
Chronic neck pain and weak muscles often form a vicious circle: when the neck loses strength, it becomes unstable – and the pain keeps coming back. If you want to strengthen your neck in a targeted manner, training on the computer-assisted Cervical Extension (CE) back machine is particularly helpful. This allows you to support your muscles effectively and ensure greater stability and well-being.
